SOCIETY OF GYNAECOLOGY AND OBSTERSTICS OF NIGERIA (SOGON)
Every four years the society of Gynaecology and Obstetrics holds an international conference in one of the great cities in Nigeria. The capital city Abuja hosted the 2022 ‘conference which doubled as their 56th annual meeting, a platform for the exchange of ideas and dissemination of latest research findings. Themed “IMPROVING REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH AND RIGTHS TOWARDS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT”.
In our first foray to introduce the illumigyngynescope into the Nigerian realm of healthcare,Peramare medicals participated in an exhibition at the SOGON conference from the 22nd -25th of November 2022 at the Shehuyar’Adua Centre. As a company committed to advancing healthcare through innovation, We participated as Platinum sponsors to showcase our innovative solution thereby engaging with a good number of attendees(medical professionals, researchers and industry experts) that further expressed interest in acquiring the Gynescope system, with several others for demonstration.
During the event, our platinum sponsorship was publicly acknowledged. On top of that, Dr. Nabila Shehu the programs manager of Peramare Medicals gave a lecture that contributed to the discussion on women’s healthcare by highlighting the importance of the IllumigynGynecope in curbing the high rate of mortality and morbidity of cervical cancer.
